Hello everyone!
Welcome to Q&A Thursdays #3 with Ivan Likov, founder of
Phoneum — the first truly mobile decentralized cryptocurrency.

I want to kick things off with a screenshot of one of our iOS testing devices! It is so good to see Phoneum as one of the apps installed! Can’t wait to share with you this amazing new experience!

I am here to answer all questions that you might have.

Question: Well, let me start if off by asking when can we expect to see the iOS version. You have teased us with a picture, so it must be soon!
Answer: The iOS app will be available to download on 14th of February! We will start off the same way we did with the Android app. There will be only 1,000 available spots at the beginning. We will have a registration form on our website for people to join!

Question: I know that I’ve asked this before, but wanted to be more specific, if I have iOS 9.2 or 9.3, will the Phoneum app run?
Answer:
As long as the device is iOS 9+, you are good!

Question: Do you expect to move into Beta in tandem with the iOS release. Or will they be a bit staggered?
Answer:
We will restart the network and will have a new amazing challenge for everyone for a chance to win 5,000 PHM! The Beta network will incorporate both Android and iOS. We will move forward with Beta at the same time.

Question: A user told me he had lost all the mined tokens from the app.
Answer:
I believe in this case, he didn’t have a strong Internet connection, therefore the tokens didn’t update. If he can provide us with the wallet address we can investigate. No one can lose their tokens, as they are digitally signed to the wallet, they cannot just disappear.

Comment: A few users have suggested to add auto start of the app on boot, to add auto connect if the app was mining and the connection is lost, so that when it comes back, the app will reconnect automatically
Answer:
Great ideas! We will implement them all!

Question: Could you give any more insight into how the alpha testing is going? Why should a person keep testing after they have completed the airdrops?
Answer:
The Android alpha testing is going just as expected, amazing and stable. The devices are staying cool and functional. We have 6,000+ Testers, 10,000+ miners, and 130GB+ total bandwidth to date.

Question: I have a tablet that is totally dead because I tried mining a crypto. Less than 24 hours of work and my Android tablet is gone forever. Now I only have one Android phone, is it safe to install the app?
Answer:
I agree that mining any cryptocurrency currently available on a mobile device can damage your device. This is why we emphasized on mobile compatibility, in order to protect your device from overheating or causing damage.

Question: Can you make any comments on discussions with exchanges?
Answer:
We will make a huge announcement next week in regards to exchanges.

Question: While there are 8,800 members here, many are not terribly active. Do you have plans to get more involvement from members, especially as we get close to the crowdsale in April?
Answer:
I do understand that many people join the group to follow news and updates and participate in the airdrop. We are working closely with a few cryptocurrency influencers, and once both apps are available, we will reach out to a bigger audience.

Thank you for all the support everyone! Have a great weekend! Stay tuned! Next week will be huge!
